My baby has RSV and I need to disinfect his toys soon. I know I can throw the stuffed animals in pillow case and wash them but what about all the other stuff?

Put some bleach in a bath tub full of water and dunk them in. The ones with batteries, just give them a wipe down. I understand completely why you want to get those germs out! My nephew had RSV and did breathing treatments and took steroids to get better. I remember him being sick for weeks. Poor thing! I hope your baby gets better soon. You should think about an air purifier like the ones Rainbow has. Those are great.
Instead of washing the stuffed toys you should ideally throw them away. Most washing machines dont get hot enough to kill a virus.
Otherwise wash all the other hard plastic toys in a bleach and soap solution and let them dry.
I’m honestly not sure what RSV is, if it’s something really serious maybe you should ask the Dr if there’s a specific thing you should do. Otherwise, all the toys that don’t go in the washer, just mix some javex in water and wash them off. Then rinse really well in regular water.
since we use only soft toys right now, I just wash them in baby ditergent
I’d spray them all down with Lysol really well or if the toys can tolerate it then spray it with a bleach solution. Make sure you sterilize or replace all the bathroom stuff too, especially tooth brushes or other things they may have in their mouth. Keep a can of Lysol and hand sanitizer handy until he/she is completely over it. RSV is pretty serious and you don’t want to recontaminate the baby or contaminate someone else either.
